Robert H. Margolis, President

Robert H. Margolis earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Kent State University (1968, 1969) and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa (1974). After a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, he joined the faculty of the UCLA Medical School in 1975. In 1980, he was appointed associate professor of communication sciences and disorders and director of the Gebbie Hearing Clinic at Syracuse University. In 1988 he became professor and director of Audiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. In 2000 he established AUDIOLOGY INCORPORATED. Margolis has over 130 publications in scientific and clinical journals and textbooks. His research has focused on development of methods for evaluating disorders of hearing. He has been awarded research grants from the Deafness Research Foundation, NATO Division of Scientific Affairs, and the National Institutes of Health. He has received honors and awards from several organizations. Dr. Margolis's current research focuses on the development and clinical validation of automated tests of hearing. Margolis and his wife Janet lives in Arden Hills, Minnesota. They have two daughters in college. He enjoys tennis, fishing, biking, and watching the Minnesota Twins. (See Curriculum Vitae)

George L. Saly, Chief Technology Officer
George L. Saly earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering Mathematics from Queen's University (1972). He worked for Hewlett-Packard and then started Arris Systems, a software development firm in 1977. He has been a team leader in real-time process control applications for soil stability monitoring at mines, secure automated fueling distribution at fleet fueling sites, various biomedical applications, and network management in industrial and medical environments. He has been a collaborator and consultant for the University of Minnesota Audiology Research Laboratory since 1998. In 2007 he became a partner in AUDIOLOGY INCORPORATED. His work in Audiology includes development of an acoustic reflectance measurement system and three-dimensional data analysis methods for the study of normal and abnormal middle ear function, and software implementation of AMTAS, AMCLASS, and AMTEST. He and his wife, Jane, live in Edina, Minnesota, and have a son and a daughter. He enjoys the outdoors, skiing, scrambling, hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing.
Michael Hamacher, Marketing Consultant

Michael Hamacher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Kansas State University and has over 17 years' experience in the healthcare industry. Mr. Hamacher began his career with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club and spent 13 years with Welch Allyn, a leading global manufacturer of medical diagnostic equipment, where he specialized in domestic and international sales and marketing.  Mr. Hamacher was recruited by GN Otometrics, a  leading manufacturer of hearing and balance instrumentation in 2005, as Vice President and General Manager of North America , serving in that capacity for three years.
