Automated Hearing Testing

AMTAS®

AMTAS® (U.S. patents 6,496,585, 7,704,216 ) is an automated pure-tone auiometric test including air conduction bone conduction and masking. Versions include adult and child (KIDTAS) and diagnostic and air conduction only.

AMTEST™ is and automated test of word recognition that uses computer speech recognition to score the patients responses. Also measures speech recognition threshold.
Qualind® (U.S. patent 6,496,585, 7,704,216) is a quantitative method for assessing the accuracy of an automated test. Qualind is embedded in AMTAS and can be used with any test for which there are identifiable subject behaviors and characteristics that are correlated with accuracy.
Automated Masking is a method for selecting masker levels during automated or manual pure tone hearing testing. Masker levels are based on current knowledge of the patient’s hearing and are evaluated after completion of the audiogram for possible overmasking or undermasking.
AMBONE (patent pending) is an acoustic coupler for calibrating audiometric bone vibrators. It captures the acoustic radiation from the bone vibrator allowing measurement in a standard earphone coupler which can be referenced to normal audiometric threshold levels.
